Timeline

What to expect when you call

One technician. One visit. Springs replaced and tested before I leave. No surprises, no callbacks.

1

Call or Text Us

Something's off with your door, it's making noise, not closing right, moving slow, or just doesn't feel like it used to. You don't need to diagnose it yourself. Tell us what's happening and we'll get you on the schedule.

2

We Arrive and Diagnose

We go through the full system: springs, cables, rollers, hinges, tracks, panels, opener, and safety sensors. Most homeowners call about one symptom, but the actual cause is often something else entirely. We find the real problem, explain it in plain English, and quote you before we start.

3

We Fix It

Once you approve the quote, we get to work. We carry the most common parts on the truck so the majority of repairs are completed in a single visit. No waiting on parts, no scheduling a second trip.

4

Test and Confirm

We run the door through full open-close cycles, test the opener, verify the safety reversal system, and make sure everything operates the way it should. You get a working door and a straight answer about anything else we noticed that might need attention down the road.

What customers say

Real people, real doors, real results from years of work.

"I was able to schedule the removal and replacement of my 20+ year old garage door and opener within a couple days of my initial service call. Levi does quality work at a fair price! I am completely satisfied with the finished result.  See for yourself...I definitely recommend Valhalla Door, LLC"

Michael A.
Homeowner, De Soto, KS

"I have dealt with a lot of garage door companies.  Levi is absolutely the best.  He is courteous,  reasonable and gets the job done quickly and with quality work.  This community needs more people like Levi.  I think the thing that impressed me the most in talking to him is how much he cares about what he does and the community he works for.  Thank you Valhalla Door!"

Ryan M.
Homeowner, Olathe, KS

"Levi came out and replaced my door and was very professional. He explained in detail everything he was doing, he explained all the parts he had to replace. He also needed to replace some lumber for the frame of the door that he found was rotting. Never cut any corners and made sure the door was set perfect. 100% recommend"

FAQs

See the most common questions we get about a Garage Door Service

How much does garage door repair cost?

It depends on the issue. A roller replacement costs less than a full spring swap, and a simple adjustment costs less than a panel replacement. We quote every repair on-site before we start so you know the exact price. No hourly rates, no diagnostic fees tacked on after the fact.

Can most garage door repairs be done in one visit?

Yes. We stock the most common parts on the truck: springs, cables, rollers, hinges, bottom seals, and opener components. The majority of residential repairs are diagnosed and completed the same visit without waiting on special orders.

Do you charge a diagnostic or service call fee?

Yes. We charge a service call fee. If we need to make a return visit, we generally remove a second charge.

How do I know if my garage door needs repair?

Common signs include grinding or squealing noises, the door moving unevenly or jerking, visible gaps when closed, the door reversing before fully closing, slow response from the opener, or the door feeling heavier than usual when lifted manually. If anything feels or sounds different than it used to, something is wearing out.

How long does a garage door repair take?

Most repairs take between 30 minutes and two hours depending on the issue. A roller swap is on the shorter end. A full cable and spring replacement takes a bit longer. We'll give you a time estimate along with your quote so you can plan your day.

Is it safe to use my garage door if something seems wrong?

If the door is making unusual noises or moving erratically, stop using it until a technician can look at it. A minor issue like a worn roller is low risk, but a fraying cable or a scraping bottom fixture that's about to fail can cause the door to drop without warning. When in doubt, disconnect the opener and leave the door closed until we can get out there.

Should I repair or replace my garage door?

It depends on the age of the door, the extent of the damage, and how much you've already put into repairs. If you're replacing panels every year or the door is 20+ years old and showing its age, a replacement might make more financial sense. We'll give you an honest recommendation based on what we see, not what adds more to a commission check

What brands of garage doors and openers can you repair?

We service all major residential brands: Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, CHI, DoorLink, Ideal, and others. For openers, we work on LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Craftsman, and most other brands on the market. If you've got a door and it's not working right, we can fix it.
